Alpine and summering pastures

The Swiss Confederation supports the management of alpine grassland through financial contributions for high-altitude summer pastures.

Alpine pasture is checked in accordance with the Swiss Ordinance on contributions for high-altitude summer pastures on the same day as the annual organic inspection. This reduces the auditing effort and cost compared to separate inspections.
