V-Label
The vegetarianism label (V-label) developed in Switzerland declares all types of vegetarian products and services. The guidelines are internationally uniform. The category "VEGETARIAN" or "VEGAN" must be added under the label to differentiate.
Benefit to customerThe Swissveg association offers professional support to all licensees who want to use the label for their product. The label is known throughout Switzerland and internationally and therefore offers clarity and transparency to the consumer. The producer reaches a large audience with the label. Swissveg decides which V-label licensees are to be inspected and when, and commissions bio.inspecta to carry out the on-site inspections. The inspections are normally carried out in combination with the organic inspection, for example
BasisV-Label guidelines and directives developed together with the European Vegetarian Union (EVU). The V-Label is internationally recognised.
